Agriculture & Markets (AGM) CHAPTER 69, ARTICLE 19
§ 231. Licenses, issuance of. No person or corporation shall maintain
or operate any refrigerated warehouse and/or locker plant unless
licensed by the commissioner. Application shall be made upon a form
prescribed by the commissioner. The applicant shall satisfy the
commissioner of his or her character, financial responsibility, and
competency to operate a refrigerated warehouse or locker plant. The
commissioner, if so satisfied, shall issue to the applicant a license or
licenses which will expire on the thirtieth of September of the next odd
numbered year following its issuance. Application for renewal of such
license or licenses for a period of two years shall be made biennially,
upon a form prescribed by the commissioner and submitted no later than
thirty days prior to the expiration of the existing license or licenses.
