Pending actions or proceedings
Agriculture & Markets (AGM) CHAPTER 69, ARTICLE 30
§ 552. Pending actions or proceedings. This chapter shall not affect
pending actions or proceedings brought by or against the department of
agriculture and markets or the department of farms and markets, the
commissioner of agriculture and markets or the commissioner of farms and
markets, the department of agriculture, the commissioner of agriculture,
the department of foods and markets, the commissioner of foods and
markets, the state superintendent of weights and measures, the state
commissioner of health, or any other officer, person or corporation, or
by or in behalf of the people of the state, under or in pursuance of any
of the provisions of the laws which are to be enforced or carried into
effect under the provisions of this chapter by the department, but the
same may be prosecuted or defended in the same manner and for the same
purpose by the department, or by the proper officer or party, under the
provisions of this chapter. Any investigation, examination or proceeding
undertaken, commenced or instituted by the department of agriculture and
markets or the department of farms and markets, the commissioner of
agriculture and markets or the commissioner of farms and markets, the
department of agriculture, the commissioner of agriculture, the
department of foods and markets, the commissioner of foods and markets,
the state superintendent of weights and measures, the state commissioner
of health, or any other officer, under the provisions of the laws which
are to be enforced or carried into effect as provided in this chapter by
the department, may be conducted or continued to a final determination
by the department, commissioner, or other proper officer of such
department, in the same manner and under the same terms and conditions
as though this chapter had not been passed.
