    SECTION 319

    Limitations upon the powers of safe deposit companies

    Banking (BNK) CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE 8

    § 319. Limitations upon the powers of safe deposit companies.

    No safe deposit company shall:

    1. Lend money, or make any advance, on any property left in its
    possession, or belonging to others.

    2. Open or maintain any branch offices, except as provided in section
    three hundred and eighteen of this article.
