    Service by publication authorized

    Civil Practice Law & Rules (CVP) CHAPTER 8, ARTICLE 3

    § 315. Service by publication authorized. The court, upon motion
    without notice, shall order service of a summons by publication in an
    action described in section 314 if service cannot be made by another
    prescribed method with due diligence.
