    Actions to recover a chattel

    Civil Practice Law & Rules (CVP) CHAPTER 8, ARTICLE 5

    § 508. Actions to recover a chattel. The place of trial of an action
    to recover a chattel may be in the county in which any part of the
    subject of the action is situated at the time of the commencement of the
    action.
