§ 3016. Contract when teacher is related to trustee or member of
board of education. 1. No person who is related to any trustee of a
common school district by blood or marriage shall be employed in such
district as a teacher, except with the approval of two-thirds of the
voters of such district present and voting upon the question at an
annual or special meeting of the district.

2. No person who is related by blood or marriage to any member of a
board of education shall be employed as a teacher by such board, except
upon the consent of two-thirds of the members thereof to be determined
at a board meeting and to be entered upon the proceedings of the board.
