§ 15-2717. Cooperation with the federal government.
Nothing in this title shall preclude a section of the state wild,
scenic and recreational rivers system from becoming a part of the
national wild and scenic rivers system. The commissioner and the agency
are directed to encourage and assist any federal studies for inclusion
of New York State rivers in the national wild and scenic rivers system.
