Affirmation in lieu of oath
Executive (EXC) CHAPTER 18, ARTICLE 6
§ 97-a. Affirmation in lieu of oath. Any application for a license or
registration required by law to be filed with the department of state
may, in lieu of being acknowledged or sworn under oath, be subscribed by
the applicant and affirmed by him or her as true under penalties of
perjury.
