    SECTION 123

    Erection and operation of life-saving apparatus

    General Municipal (GMU) CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 6

    § 123. Erection and operation of life-saving apparatus. Any municipal
    corporation may furnish, erect and locate such life-saving apparatus,
    appliances and paraphernalia, and do all things necessary for the
    practical operating of the same as they may deem advisable, along the
    shores or banks of any streams, rivers or waters within their respective
    boundaries. Any municipal corporation may appropriate of its funds for
    the purpose of furnishing, erecting, locating and operating such
    life-saving apparatus.
