§ 473. Constables, coroners, criers and attendants prohibited from
practicing during term of office. A constable, coroner, crier, or
attendant of a court, shall not, during his continuance in office,
practice as an attorney or counsellor in any court, nor shall a sheriff,
under-sheriff, deputy-sheriff, or sheriff's clerk so practice in the
county in which he is elected or appointed.
