    Powers and duties

    Public Health (PBH) CHAPTER 45, ARTICLE 27

    § 2702. Powers and duties. The commissioner shall have the power and
    it shall be his duty to employ such assistants and personnel, within the
    amount of the appropriation, as is necessary to carry out the provisions
    of this article.
