    Quarter horse racing defined

    Racing, Pari-Mutuel Wagering and Breeding Law (PML) CHAPTER 47-A, ARTICLE 4

    § 429. Quarter horse racing defined. The term "quarter horse racing",
    as used in this article, shall be construed to mean only horse racing in
    which the horses participating are mounted by a jockey and are
    registered by the American Quarter Horse Association.
