    Liberal construction

    Volunteer Ambulance Workers' Benefit (VAW) CHAPTER 64-B, ARTICLE 4

    § 59. Liberal construction. The provisions of this article relating to
    giving notice of injury and filing of claim, and to the contents of any
    such notice or claim, shall be construed liberally in order to
    effectuate the objects and purposes of this chapter.
