Non-liability of state
Workers' Compensation (WKC) CHAPTER 67, ARTICLE 9
§ 240. Non-liability of state. The special fund for disability
benefits created by section two hundred fourteen shall be the sole and
exclusive source for the payment of benefits provided by sections two
hundred seven and two hundred thirteen. The state of New York undertakes
the administration of the fund without any liability on the part of the
state beyond the amount of moneys actually collected and credited to the
fund.
