State Senator Hugh T. Farley (R, C, I - Schenectady) poses with Niskayuna High School junior Morgan Schmitt on April 21st in front of the Senate Chambers in Albany. Morgan was chosen to attend the 9th annual Students Inside Albany conference, sponsored by the League of Women Voters of New York State Education Foundation, Inc. Students Inside Albany is a program designed to increase high school students' awareness of their responsibility in a representative government and provide tools necessary for meeting that responsibility. Morgan got to "shadow" Senator Farley for the day and learn what a typical day is like for a State Senator.
