Senator Kevin Parker will usher in the 2009 holiday season by distributing free, individually wrapped turkeys on Thursday, November 20, 2009, to local houses of worship, community based organizations and senior centers. In an effort to assist the neediest in our community, Sen. Parker has partnered with Health Plus, Forest City Ratner Companies, Shop Rite, Stop & Shop Supermarket -the proud sponsors of this year’s Turkey Give-away Event at St. Augustine’s Church – to alleviate the financial burden of this season.
