Senator Owen H. Johnson recently presented the Belmont Lake Civic Association with a New York State Senate proclamation in honor of their 50th Anniversary at a gala at the Melville Hilton.  The Belmont Lake Civic Association is one of the oldest African American civic associations in the state.
