ALBANY (March 15, 2010)--Sen. Darrel J. Aubertine, vice chair and ranking majority member of the Senate Energy & Telecommunications Committee, organized a meeting with Nathalie Normandeau, Quebec's Vice Premier and Minister for Natural Resources.

The Senator discussed the possibility of obtaining low cost power from Quebec and other regional energy issues with the Vice Premier in his office, continuing discussions dating back to summer of 2009. Also attending was Sen. George Maziarz, who serves as chair of the committee in accordance with a Senate majority effort to spread bipartisanship in the Senate.
