Senator Maziarz met with a group of Civil War reenactors in Albany today, the 150^th anniversary of the bombing of Fort Sumter to highlight a proclamation “to congratulate and commend the New York State Civil War Sesquicentennial Committee and other recognized statewide historic organizations for their initiative and public service in volunteering to advance the observance of the 150^th anniversary of the Civil War in the State of New York.”
