State Senator Hugh T. Farley (R, C, I - Schenectady) had the pleasure of meeting participants of Northeast Parent & Child Society’s Youth Build program on March 16th in Albany. According to Northeast Parent & Child Society’s website, Youth Build is a "12-month program that helps young adults ages 18 to 24 from Schenectady County earn a GED while getting paid to build affordable housing. Participants receive six months of classroom instruction and onsite construction training and six months of job placement and support services." Senator Farley discussed the importance of the Youth Build program with Tabatha Cole, Carlton Thompson, Kevin Phipps, Elise Martin and Rebecca Ilowiecki.
