On Thursday, State Senator Jeff Klein (D- Bronx/ Westchester) joined Frank Simpson, Superintendent for LaVelle School for the Blind, Diane Tucker, Upper School Principal for LaVelle School for the Blind, representatives from the New York Institute for Special Education, Noreen Collins of St. Joseph’s School for the Deaf, students, parents and teachers at LaVelle School for the Blind to announce the restoration of funds for 4201 Schools in the 2012 Executive Budget.
