Senator Malcolm A. Smith (D-Hollis) kicked-off his annual Winter Wonderland Toy Drive. Thanks to corporations such as Health First, Jet Blue and Neighborhood Health Providers, Smith was able to distribute more than 350 toys to children in need in local daycare centers, hospitals and shelters such as Peninsula Hospital in Far Rockaway and the Charles R. Drew Daycare Center in Hollis.
