Senator Young recently stopped by a party for John and Anne Garey as the couple celebrated their 75^th Wedding Anniversary!

John and Anne were married on December 6, 1937, at the First Baptist Church in Olean. Together the couple raised three children, Nancy Shewairy, Sharyn Garey, and the late John A. Garey; they have 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

John and Anne Garey enjoy an active retirement together in their home in Olean where they have lived for more than 60 years. Anne continues to drive, cook meals and bake, while John mows the lawn, attends to household tasks and enjoys crossword puzzles.

What an incredible couple!
