Board of Education members from school districts throughout Monroe County recently visited the State Capitol in Albany to meet with Senator Alesi to discuss education issues specific to schools in our communities, especially the State Budget.  Based on these discussions, and many others with educational groups, from teachers to students, Senator Alesi supported a 4% increase in school aid in this year’s Budget.  Above, Senator Alesi is pictured with Alka Phatak, Pittsford Central School District Board of Education Member.
