State Senator John A. DeFrancisco is pictured with Terri Bright and her two mules, Franklin and Donovan, at the 50th Anniversary Celebration for the Erie Canal Museum on Saturday, July 28, 2012.  Canal boats were once pulled by mules along the Erie Canal through downtown Syracuse.  During the celebration, Senator DeFrancisco also presented the Erie Canal Museum with a Citation.
