
Academy Building Renovations Begin

On Thursday, I spoke at a cermeony to announce the renovation of the Academy Building downtown. The $5.8 million dollar project will transform the building into commercial and residential space. An $800,000 grant from the Restore New York fund was secured for this project. Located at 13 Fitzhugh Street, the building housed Rochester's first high school.
