In the continuing tradition of bringing quality entertainment and giving back to the Rochester Community, 103.9 WDKX FM will be spreading joy this holiday season, with the "Share the Warmth" coat giveaway taking place Saturday, December 1st as well as Saturday, December 15th at the Salem United Church of Christ (60 Bittner St.). With the help of multiple community organizations, WDKX will be distributing coats, hats & gloves, and pictures with Santa Clause to the less fortunate children of our community.
In conjunction with Senator Joe Robach's office, The Snap Foundation, The Rochester Police Department, the NBA and Rochester's own John Wallace, the Rochester West Indian Festival Organization (RWIFO, INC), and the Federation of Social Workers (FSW), WDKX will be able to provide the winter coats, hats, and gloves. At the event, children and their families will also be able to take pictures with Santa Claus free of charge courtesy of Creative Eye Photo.
The WDKX Jam Squad will be broadcasting live from the event, which will be held on Dec. 1st. from 10 am until 12 Noon and Dec. 15th from 10a-2p at the church (60 Bittner St.). Please join WDKX as we give back to our community and help everyone celebrate the holiday season.
