Senator Golden, Community and DOT Remove Safety Hazard
Martin J. Golden
April 19, 2012
I received a message today that this detour sign has been at the corner of 72nd Street and 3rd Avenue in Brooklyn for about 3 weeks. I brought this complaint, that not only was it unsightly, but it was hazardous to the attention of the Department of Transportation, and they have responded and removed the signs and posts from the sidewalk. Thank you to the Department of Transportation and thank you to our neighbor who reported this.
