Newark- Senator Mike Nozzolio was recently presented with an American flag that was flown in his honor over Afghanistan during combat in Operation Enduring Freedom. The flag was presented by Belinda McElroy, mother of Patrick McElroy Jr., who recently served in Afghanistan. Senator Nozzolio was inspired by Patrick’s mother to begin his “Annual Christmas Drive to Benefit the Troops,” which has been sending donations to troops serving overseas for the last several years.
