Newark- Senator Mike Nozzolio recently presented Derrick Fera, Newark Pilots pitcher, with a special New York State Resolution congratulating him upon setting a Section V pitching record for career wins at Lyons High School. Derrick plans to attend Finger Lakes Community College to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice and will continue to play collegiate baseball.
