SENATOR GALLIVAN SERVES AS EMCEE AT WYOMING COUNTY VETS HIGHWAY RIBBON-CUTTING
Patrick M. Gallivan
August 29, 2012

Senator Patrick M. Gallivan joined local leaders and hundreds of veterans from across Wyoming County as a portion of NYS Rt. 20A was officially designated The Wyoming County Veterans Memorial Highway. Gallivan introduced the necessary legislation earlier this year along with state assemblyman, Daniel Burling, a Vietnam veteran himself.
“There is no more important constituency of mine than Western New York’s Veterans and their families,” Senator Gallivan said. “It’s important we always keep them in our thoughts, and I hope a new Memorial Highway will be both a reminder of their service and a tribute to their sacrifice.”
