RITCHIE HONORS LEGENDARY NEWSMAN KELLY

State Senator Patty Ritchie presented retired newspaper publisher and editor Charles W. Kelly with a special Resolution at the Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club Expo over the weekend. Senator Ritchie introduced the resolution in the New York State Senate earlier this year to honor the longtime journalist. Kelly helped found the Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club and the annual Expo. He was a journalist for 57 years. He oversaw The Journal in Ogdensburg, the Advance News, the St. Lawrence Plaindealer in Canton, the Massena Courier Observer, the Malone Telegram and the Rural News. He wrote Kelly's Comments for over 50 years.
