Yesterday afternoon, I joined Mayor Tom Richards, County Executive Maggie Brooks and other local officials at the ribbon cutting of the newly renovated Academy Building. Originally built in 1873, the Academy Building was once home to the City's first school. Renovated by Traikos Real Estate Group, this historic Downtown Rochester building will now be home to residential apartments and commercial space.
I was pleased to be able to support this project through Round 2 of the Restore New York Program.
