Congratulations to Thomas Demond for receiving the New York State Medal of Merit and the New York State Conspicuous Service Star for his service to our nation during the Vietnam War. I was honored to present Tom with both of these medals at the Baber AME Church on Sunday morning. Tom continues to serve our nation and community as Commander of the Pennington-Moye VFW Post 9251.
