Town of Gates 200th Birthday Celebration
Joseph E. Robach
July 1, 2013
This past weekend, the Town of Gates celebrated its 200th Birthday with a bang! It started with a parade from Gates Town Hall to Gates-Chili High School. The celebration continued with performances by the Jig's Up String Band, Keys to the Caddy and the infamous Lou Gramm Band.
The Town of Gates was incorporated on April 1, 1813, making it one of the oldest towns in Monroe County.
I'm pictured here with the great Lou Gramm and Monroe County Legislator Steve Tucciarello.
