Wolcott- Senator Mike Nozzolio and Assemblyman Bob Oaks recently met with local correctional officers and staff from the Butler Correctional Facility to discuss their efforts to prevent the closure of the correctional facility in Wayne County. Senator Nozzolio and Assemblyman Oaks have voiced their strong opposition to the Governor's proposed plan to close the facility citing both the risk to public safety as well as the devastating effect it will have on our local economy.
