Montgomery Applauds Powerful Senate Leadership, Past and Present

At the start of the 2013 Senate Session, Senator Montgomery congratulates Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins, the new Senate Democratic Leader, while also recognizing past Senate Democratic leader Manfred Ohrenstein (far right) and Peter Kiernan, who worked as Counsel to the Senate Democratic Conference from 1978-1981. Mr. Kiernan, who also served as Counsel to the Governor from 2008-2010, is currently Counsel with ShiffHardin, LLC, as well as the Chair of the NYS Law Revision Commission.
