State Senator Hugh T. Farley (R, C, I – Schenectady) had the pleasure of presenting a New York State Senate Citation to Mary Rebecca Ferris of Remsen. She was an honoree at the New York State Office for the Aging Senior Citizens’ Day that was held May 6th in Albany. At the day, the State Office for Aging, along with county offices for the aging, honored older citizens from around the State, with a focus on those who have lent their expertise to their communities through volunteerism.

Senator Farley presented a Senate Citation for Ms. Harris for her volunteer work with Hospice Palliative Care as well as her dedication to the Boards of Foothills Rural Community Ministry and Food Pantry, Herkimer BOCES and Unity Hall Foundation.
