On the morning of December 15th, State Senator John A. DeFrancisco was happy to be there as Discount Shoe Repair owner Ralph Rotella donated more than 7,000 shoes, boots and sneakers to The Rescue Mission of Syracuse, New York.
Mr. Rotella annually collects used shoes from his customers, as well as the general public, then volunteers his time to repair the shoes and donate them to charity. His shop is located at 116 E. Washington Street in Syracuse.
