State Senator John A. DeFrancisco and Syracuse Hall of Fame Boxing Coach Ray Rinaldi held a final weigh-in for their upcoming boxing match, “Fight for a Future” on April 24th at the West Area Athletic and Education Center in Syracuse. 

John “The Pit Bull” DeFrancisco and “Sugar” Ray Rinaldi have been preparing to "duke it out"  in the boxing ring to raise awareness and funds for athletic programs that benefit at-risk youth who live in the City of Syracuse. The boxing match and dinner,“Fight for a Future,” will be the first fundraising event of the newly formed Ray Rinaldi Foundation.
