Road Sign Dedication for Fallen Sheriff's Deputy

I was honored to join local law enforcement officials, the Badge Of Honor Association and members of the Monroe County Sheriff's Office Association of Retirees to help dedicate a road sign in honor of fallen Special Deputy Joseph Munz. In February 1932, Special Deputy Munz was struck by passing car while assisting at the scene of a crash near Clover Street and Highland Avenue. This memorial sign is located on Highland Avenue, near the intersection of Clover Street in the Town of Brighton.
