Summer of Opportunity Employment Program

Every summer the City of Rochester, Monroe County and RochesterWorks collaborate for the Summer of Opportunity Employment Program. This program provides summer employment for over 800 area youth, giving them hands-on learning experience and on the job training. I have been pleased to continually support the Summer of Opportunity Program by securing $300,000 in state aid to help fund the program. Many thanks to the City of Rochester, Monroe County, RochesterWorks and all of the organizations who participate every year!
