State Senator Hugh T. Farley (R, C, I – Schenectady) had the pleasure of meeting constituents that were honored at the NYS Senior Citizen’s Day Recognition Event on May 5th in Albany. As part of National Older American’s Month, the event honors the generations that helped build and shape our Nation. Honorees were selected for recognition based on their contributions to their community through volunteerism.

Blowers has over 40 years of service to the Fulton County region. Her volunteer efforts include helping the Fulton County Youth Bureau, Nick Stoner Senior Club, Red Cross, Big Brothers-Big Sisters and Wheelerville School.
Riznyk volunteers numerous hours to many organizations, including Fern Dale Cemetery, Methodist Church food pantry, Habitat for Humanity, Fulton-Montgomery Chamber of Commerce, Oppenheim and Nick Stoner Senior clubs and Fulton County Council of Clubs and Centers. She has over 20 years of volunteer service dedicated to the Fulton County region.
