Those Charters of Freedom we celebrate today were incomplete as written in the 18th century. It has taken generations of labor to guide our nation towards being a more perfect union. A country more inclusive than the founding generation could have envisaged. Today, celebrate America and celebrate the many people of all backgrounds who move us toward becoming the nation we hope to be. And of course, have a safe and happy 4th of July.
