Senator Jesse Hamilton, NYC Council Member Mathieu Eugene, community residents and the awesome team behind the Maple Street Community Garden

On Sunday I updated the dedicated neighbors behind the Maple Street Community Garden on the action I am taking in the NYS Senate to protect the garden from development. I authored and introduced a bill directing state authorities to use their power to protect the lot from development and preserve the site for the community (Senate Bill 6073-2015) on Friday. I will continue to support the awesome team working to preserve this vital community space in our neighborhood and I will work with neighbors throughout the district to protect our precious community spaces.
