It was my pleasure to join the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce’s “Chamber on the Go” and meet with Nostrand Avenue small businesses this afternoon.  Small businesses represent a vital part of our community – providing services, employing neighbors, and acting as good neighbors themselves. They have a stake in the success of our community, which is why I have established a dedicated Small Business Advisory Committee. I want to be sure to take on board the ideas of the small business community and help connect them to the resources they need to succeed. The outreach “Chamber on the Go” and I pursued today is a part of that effort to make exactly those connections.
