Theresa Bowick, Winner of the Get Outdoors Award

I was pleased to present Theresa Bowick with the Get Outdoors Award from Parks and Trails New York yesterday at the State Capitol. Theresa started the Conkey Cruisers, a grassroots neighborhood bicycling group that rides along the El Camino Trail in the northeast part of the City of Rochester. Theresa started the Conkey Cruisers in hopes that they will inspire her neighbors to stay active, make healthy food choices, decrease obesity rates and create a positive image of their neighborhood. Congratulations to Theresa, and all of the members of the Conkey Cruisers, and thank you for your commitment to the City of Rochester!
