Savannah- Senator Mike Nozzolio recently presented a New York State flag that was flown over the Capitol building in Albany to the Savannah American Legion Post 1343. Senator Nozzolio has been a strong advocate for veterans and their families and has recently sponsored legislation that would create the “New York State Veterans Remembrance” license plate. The funds from these license plates would go into the state’s Veterans Remembrance and Cemetery Maintenance Operation Fund to help support New York state veterans cemeteries.
