Senator Montgomery with Dr. Una Clarke following the confirmation of Dr. Clarke's nomination to the City University of New York (CUNY) Board of Trustees. Dr. Clarke is a former Flatbush City Councilwoman and mother to Congresswoman Yvette Clarke.

The Senate confirmed Dr. Clarke's nomination on June 18, 2015.  Pictured with the Senator and Dr. Clarke are (from l-r) Senator Ruth Hassell-Thompson (D- Bronx/Westchester) and Senator Bill Perkins (D-Manhattan).
