New York -- Today, State Senator Daniel Squadron shared the attached greeting letter wishing constituents a happy Year of the Monkey, and celebrating the first Lunar New Year with a NYC public school holiday. Squadron also passed the attached State Senate resolution commemorating Lunar New Year, and spoke on the Senate floor about the importance of Lunar New Year in our community (video here).
